Shark Mindset?

Mmmm…

I gotta be 100% honest. I never in my life wanted to be a salesman. 

Ideas like “BE A SHARK” repelled me. 

 

This was until I quit my government job after 8 years of absolute shit life. I was 33 at the time.

This is very important.

As you get older, you run the risk of losing appetite for life. You seek challenges less and less. And HORMETIK is all about never losing that. So I invest heavily on this, as I think everyone should do.

To apply Hormetism in your life, you must always be adapting, always learning new stuff, always pushing your boundaries.

You will get 7 in-depth videos that go over the subject matter, all to get you ready before the coaching call. So you can be prepared for it.

In the videos you will learn about the different types of customers and the different types of sellers. 

By the way, you can use these concepts for everyday life. To get friends to agree, your spouse, your kids even. Learning sales is a way to use human psychology to get more.

So, while going through the videos I did not imagine how well it was all going to tie together during the coaching call.

The course gives you THREE major models that you can use in your sales. 

  1. The N.A.S.A. Model

  2. The A.A.O. Model

  3. The T.I.S. Model

I took notes while watching the videos, and I recommend you to do the same. As writing things make them stick more. Alternatively, you can speak them out loud, depending on how you learn.

These Models, you can apply them directly in your tweets, your blog posts, your sales calls, and your daily interactions.

Hans is in the hardest type of sales, which is straight up calling people on the phone and making sales. That’s TOUGH!

After you go through all the videos, you will let him know and then schedule a video phone call. 

THE POINT OF THE VIDEO PHONE CALL IS TO COMPLETE THE D.I.S.C. ASSESSMENT.

The Assessment is the heart of the course, and you will get wonderful insights into your self. Into how you behave and what motivates you.

So, this is how it went for me:

I let Hans know that I had watched all the videos. So he quickly set up a call. A bit later we were “face to face” on the phone. And we went through the assessment. If you were to do the assessment on your own, you would not be objective. 

YOU NEED ANOTHER PERSON TO KEEP YOUR ANSWERS OBJECTIVE AND TRUE.

We tend to lie to ourselves and we want to imagine ourselves different than what we really are. This is important. You will find that you think you are “systematic” or “thorough”, but you really aren’t.

Hans will challenge you and you will find truths about yourself. 

I was surprised to find that I have a very specific inner conflict that limits me. 

This is thanks to the assessment. 

Spending this money can prove to be the best decision ever if you think about it. The path is more clear than ever for me. Let’s see how it all unfolds.
